This just costs more than it should. I get that prices are up everywhere, but come on — for what you’re getting, it feels overpriced. I wanted to like it, but I can’t really justify spending that much on it.

"Tracking has been solid for me"
I’ve found the tracking to be accurate most of the time. It only really throws me off when the room gets too bright, but you’re still getting a smooth experience overall. I’m happy with it.

"App keeps acting up on me"
I’ve been trying to use this app for a while now, usually in the evenings when I’m just sitting on the couch after work, and it crashes way too often for me. I don’t know if it’s my phone or the latest update, but it’s gotten frustrating when I’m in the middle of doing something and the whole thing just closes.

"Setup was a pain"
Not gonna lie, setting this up was way more frustrating than I expected. It took forever, and after all that time, it still didn’t even work.
"Refund was quick, but the communication could’ve been clearer"
I returned my order and got my refund within a few days, so that part was easy. No real drama there. The only annoying thing was that the updates weren’t very clear, so I wasn’t totally sure what was happening at each step until the money showed up.

"Checkout Was Such a Hassle for Me"
I tried placing an order, the checkout process was a headache. The site kept freezing right when I was trying to pay, which was super annoying because I didn’t want to waste my time dealing with it. When the order finally seemed to go through, I didn’t even get a clear confirmation, so I had to go out of my way to check the status myself. It just felt messy and frustrating. I probably wouldn’t use this site again unless I really had no better option

My headset started having an issue with the controller, so I got in touch with the warranty team. They asked me to send over a few photos, and after that, they sorted out a replacement. It wasn’t lightning-speed or anything, but it was painless compared to what I was expecting. Fair, simple, and no huge drama.

"Pretty good Wi-Fi, like most have a few weird spots"
Overall it works well and does what I need. It does drop sometimes in the corners of the house, but every wireless setup seems to have some random dead spot somewhere.

"I ordered these through HTC Vive and..."
I ordered these through HTC Vive and I’ve been using them for a few weeks now. i was in a good mood when the setup went smoothly because I didn’t feel like fighting with tech that day. The buttons made sense after a little messing around, so no big headache there.
The tracking has been solid most of the time, and the grip buttons feel comfortable enough for longer play sessions. Battery life has been decent too, which is nice because I get mildly annoyed when everything needs charging constantly. So far, I haven’t had to plug them in every single day.
The only thing keeping me from giving them full marks is that they can feel a bit bulky if you have smaller hands, and I’ve accidentally hit the menu button more than once, which definitely kills the vibe for a second. Still, I’m happy with them overall and they’ve been fun to use.

"Battery dies way too fast"
I’m disappointed with this headset. It works fine when it’s charged, but the battery drains so quickly that I can barely get through a normal session without having to plug it back in. For what it costs, I expected a lot better. I also reached out to support and kind of felt like they were blaming me for how I was using it instead of actually helping, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. I’m tired of constantly checking the battery instead of just enjoying it.

"Looks better than it feels"
I really wanted to like this because it actually looks decent, which is more than I can say for a lot of similar stuff. But the fit was just kind of all over the place for me. It was tight in a few spots and weirdly loose in others, so I kept having to adjust it. After wearing it for a while, it went from mildly annoying to just uncomfortable. Maybe it works better if your body is exactly the shape they had in mind, but for me the sizing felt poorly thought out.

"I bought this from vive.com and expected..."
I bought this from vive.com and expected better for the price. After just a few months, the headset started acting up, the strap feels really flimsy, and one of the controllers already has drift. What made it more frustrating was the whole support experience felt kind of cold, like there wasn’t a real person on the other end. Disappointing overall.

"Support dragged on and wore me out"
I was having tracking issues and tried all the fixes they suggested, but nothing actually worked. Support took forever to reply, and when they did, it felt like they were just telling me to repeat the same steps I’d already done. By the end of it, I was just mentally drained and really frustrated.

"Runs great on my PC"
I was kinda worried my PC wouldn’t be able to handle it, but the Vive ended up working just fine after setup. SteamVR picked it up super quick, and I didn’t have to mess with a bunch of settings or anything. Games run smooth on my RTX 3060, and the tracking feels solid. i’m really happy with it so far. No major issues, it’s been legit.

"I had a problem with my order..."
I had a problem with my order the whole thing felt carelessly handled. Support took way too long to reply, and I had to keep following up just to get an answer. They did eventually respond, but by then it already felt like I was chasing them more than they were trying to help.

"Solid overall, but the straps could be better"
The quality feels good and it doesn’t seem cheap at all, which I appreciate. But the straps? Yeah, they could really be softer. It’s one of those little things that starts bugging you more than it should, because everything else feels solid and then the straps are just kind of there being annoying.
